In 2018, Reservoir Capital acquired a 60% interest in Kainji Power Holding Limited (KPHL) in a share swap transaction, a transaction on which Kapok Capital advised. KPHL owns an interest in Mainstream Energy Solutions Limited, the company which holds the concession to operate the Kainji and Jebba hydroelectric projects in Western Nigeria. The Company’s acquisition strategy is to approach owners of privately-held quality clean energy assets and to offer their investors diversification, liquidity, and exposure to our growing balanced portfolio of its income-generating renewables assets.

Panoro Energy ASA is an independent oil & gas company headquartered London with production, exploration and development assets in Africa. Panoro currently has oil & gas operations in Gabon, Nigeria and Tunisia, having acquired the former assets of both DNO and OMV in Tunisia. First oil from the Tortue field in Dussafu Marin licence offshore Gabon was in September 2018, and Panoro is now planning a second phase development at Tortue. Panoro has net oil production of 2,500 barrels per day and net 2P reserves of 28.8 mmboe. Panoro is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the symbol PEN.

Independent Oil & Gas PLC (“IOG”) is a UK based development and production company with established interests in ten UK North Sea Licences. IOG’s gas portfolio comprises operated interests in the Blythe, Elgood, Nailsworth, Elland and Southwark gas fields in the Southern North Sea, with 2P reserves of 303bcf in total and the Harvey appraisal opportunity (Best Estimate Prospective Resources of 114bcf). IOG also owns 100% of the Thames Pipeline and its strategy is to use the re-commissioned Thames Pipeline as an infrastructure hub to bring its gas resources into production via the Bacton gas processing station in Norfolk.
